The Shakespreare was taken over in February 2008 and had a major refurbishment.

The pub has been taken over by George dickson and his business partner Scott Brown.

Both George and Scott have been in the pub industry for a few years.

George and Scott plan to turn The Shakespeare into a fun place for everyone to come

down and have a drink with friends and family.
